Charda is a small village of 296.8 hectares in Nanpara Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Charda depends on BABAGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Charda's pin code is 271881[4], and village code is 06440800. The area of Charda is segregated as 87.17 hectares irrigated area, 215.3 hectares unirrigated area. the 6.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 52.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Charda is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4822 and has total administration over 853 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BABAGANJ and Bahraich to sell clay pots and make their living.
