Chapra Sakhi is a small village of 480.9 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chapra Sakhi depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. The area of Chapra Sakhi is segregated as 280 hectares irrigated area, 1 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 100 hectare area not available for cultivation.
