Chandpur is a small village of 104.8 hectares in Sikanderpur Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandpur depends on Belthara Road , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandpur's pin code is 221711[4], and village code is 09102200. The area of Chandpur is segregated as 79.458 hectares irrigated area, 1.02 hectares unirrigated area. the 14.468 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 9.896 hectare area not available for cultivation.
