Chandama Kalan is a small village of 1198 hectares in Phagi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Chandama Kalan depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 438.96% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Chandama Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Chandama Kalan's pin code is 303006[4], and village code is 01537800. The area of Chandama Kalan is segregated as 438.96 hectares irrigated area, 412 hectares unirrigated, the 215.04 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 132 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jaipur and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
