Burhgaur is a small village of 11 hectares in Ramnagar Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Burhgaur depends on suratganj, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Burhgaur's pin code is 225304[4], and village code is 05731100. The area of Burhgaur is segregated as 9 hectares irrigated area, 22 hectares unirrigated area. the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 17 hectare area not available for cultivation.
