Birravan is a small village of 2035 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birravan depends on kamasin, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birravan's pin code is 210125[4], and village code is 04814500. The area of Birravan is segregated as 250 hectares irrigated area, 550 hectares unirrigated area. the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kamasin and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
