Birravan is a small village of 2035 hectares in Baberu Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birravan depends on kamasin, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birravan's pin code is 210125[4], and village code is 04814500. The area of Birravan is segregated as 250 hectares irrigated area, 550 hectares unirrigated area. the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Birravan is a census village in the district of Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 3726 and has total administration over 605 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

According to a census 2011 report, 1487 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 982 male, 505 female with 1050 (70.61%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 895 males and 155 females. 503 males and 67 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 226 male and 61 female agricultural labor. 437 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of kamasin and Banda to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
