Birna is a small village of 47.22 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birna depends on Jhusi Kohna (C, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 19.00% of the total supply, One tank and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Birna's pin code is 221505[4], and village code is 05462600. The area of Birna is segregated as 30.85 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated area. the 0.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 10.28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Birna is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 633 and has total administration over 99 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jhusi Kohna (C and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
