Birapur is a small village of 90.78 hectares in Handia Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Birapur depends on Phulpur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Birapur's pin code is 221503[4], and village code is 05555700. The area of Birapur is segregated as 13.03 hectares unirrigated area. the 1.28 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.45 hectare area not available for cultivation.
