Biraha is a small village of 78 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Biraha depends on Sirsa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Biraha's pin code is 212306[4], and village code is 05549400. The area of Biraha is segregated as 2 hectares irrigated area, the 71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
