Bighepur is a small village of 218.5 hectares in Auraiya Tehsil in Auraiya district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bighepur depends on Atasu (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bighepur's pin code is 206121[4], and village code is 04139800. The area of Bighepur is segregated as 127.16 hectares irrigated area, 64.34 hectares unirrigated area. the 10.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 15.82 hectare area not available for cultivation.
