Bhauri is a small village of 554.2 hectares in Mahasi Tehsil in Bahraich district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhauri depends on Phakhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bhauri's pin code is 271902[4], and village code is 06487700. The area of Bhauri is segregated as 116.42 hectares irrigated area, 175.54 hectares unirrigated area. the 4.71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 135.01 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Bhauri has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Bhauri is a census village in the district of Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 2959 and has total administration over 495 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Phakhpur and Bahraich to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
