Bharthai is a small village of 137.6 hectares in Haidergarh Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bharthai depends on Siddhaur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Bharthai's pin code is 225414[4], and village code is 05833400. The area of Bharthai is segregated as 90.127 hectares irrigated area, 5 hectares unirrigated area. the 17.363 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 7.002 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Siddhaur (NP) and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
