Bhankrota is a small village of 1180 hectares in Phagi Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhankrota depends on Chaksu, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Bhankrota is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhankrota's pin code is 303006[4], and village code is 01538200. The area of Bhankrota is segregated as 249.59 hectares irrigated area, 694.73 hectares unirrigated, the 87.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 148.26 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chaksu and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
