Bhakhar is a small village of 12 hectares in Bairia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bhakhar depends on Reoti (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bhakhar's pin code is 277209[4], and village code is 09297900. The area of Bhakhar is segregated as 12 hectares irrigated area.
