Beur is a small village of 81.09 hectares in Bansdih Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Beur depends on Sahatwar (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Beur's pin code is 277219[4], and village code is 09281300. The area of Beur is segregated as 21.35 hectares irrigated area, 10.098 hectares unirrigated area. the 11.21 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 11.834 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Beur has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sahatwar (NP) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
