Behta is a small village of 80.57 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Behta depends on AMANIGANJ, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. Behta is also near byOne lake. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Behta's pin code is 225126[4], and village code is 05688600. The area of Behta is segregated as , 1.983 hectares unirrigated area. the 7.942 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of AMANIGANJ and Barabanki to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
