Begas is a small village of 1753 hectares in Jaipur Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Begas depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Begas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Begas's pin code is 303007[4], and village code is 01561300. The area of Begas is segregated as 1469.7 hectares irrigated area, 81.97 hectares unirrigated, the 48.51 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 152.41 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Begas is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 5149 and has total administration over 727 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
