Begampur is a small village of 234 hectares in Fatehabad Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Begampur depends on Fatehabad (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Begampur is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Begampur's pin code is 283111[4], and village code is 01635000. The area of Begampur is segregated as 143 hectares irrigated area, 97 hectares unirrigated, the 75 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 15 hectare area not available for cultivation.
