Basri Kalan is a small village of 377 hectares in Phulera (Hq.Sambhar) Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basri Kalan depends on Kishangarh Renwal, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 317.05% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Basri Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Basri Kalan's pin code is 303603[4], and village code is 01491900. The area of Basri Kalan is segregated as 317.05 hectares irrigated area, 32.69 hectares unirrigated, the 15.59 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.67 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Basri Kalan is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1328 and has total administration over 202 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
