Basant Pur is a small village of 402 hectares in Ramsanehighat Tehsil in Barabanki district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Basant Pur depends on Tikait Nagar (N), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Basant Pur's pin code is 225415[4], and village code is 05812200. The area of Basant Pur is segregated as 42.9 hectares irrigated area, 206.9 hectares unirrigated area. the 6.79 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 15.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.
