Barva is a small village of 300 hectares in Meja Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barva depends on Sirsa (Np), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barva's pin code is 212303[4], and village code is 05638600. The area of Barva is segregated as 260 hectares irrigated area, 6 hectares unirrigated area.
