Barsia is a small village of 235 hectares in Khekada Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barsia depends on SARAI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Barsia's pin code is 250606[4], and village code is 01058700. The area of Barsia is segregated as 239.832 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 34.92 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Barsia is a census village in the district of Bagpat, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 1716 and has total administration over 276 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SARAI and Bagpat to sell jaggery and make their living.
