Barhan is a small village of 2008 hectares in Etmadpur Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barhan depends on ATMADPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Barhan's pin code is 283201[4], and village code is 01570600. The area of Barhan is segregated as 1729 hectares irrigated area, the 192 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of ATMADPUR and Agra to sell bulb and make their living.
