Bargahani is a small village of 486 hectares in Banda Tehsil in Banda district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bargahani depends on Banda (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sourcesOne canal. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Bargahani's pin code is 210001[4], and village code is 04795000. The area of Bargahani is segregated as 156 hectares irrigated area, 309 hectares unirrigated area. the 10 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 32 hectare area not available for cultivation.
