Baraura is a small village of 163.6 hectares in Phulpur Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Baraura depends on Karnaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Baraura's pin code is 221507[4], and village code is 05422000. The area of Baraura is segregated as 139.696 hectares irrigated area, 4.803 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 5.552 hectare area not available for cultivation.
