Barauha is a small village of 320.9 hectares in Koraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Barauha depends on Koraon (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Barauha's pin code is 212306[4], and village code is 05670200. The area of Barauha is segregated as 130.9 hectares irrigated area, 76.03 hectares unirrigated area. the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Koraon (NP) and Allahabad to sell carpet and make their living.
