Banpur is a small village of 296 hectares in Kiraoli Tehsil in Agra district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banpur depends on Fatehpur Sikri , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Banpur's pin code is 282007[4], and village code is 01594400. The area of Banpur is segregated as 215 hectares irrigated area, 42 hectares unirrigated, remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.
