Bankiyawas Kalan is a small village of 1767 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bankiyawas Kalan depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Bankiyawas Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Bankiyawas Kalan's pin code is 344026[4], and village code is 02156300. The area of Bankiyawas Kalan is segregated as 1682.33 hectares unirrigated, the 43.84 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.
