Banghusri is a small village of 351 hectares in Tulsipur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banghusri depends on Pachperwa (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Banghusri's pin code is 271206[4], and village code is 06672300. The area of Banghusri is segregated as 300 hectares irrigated area, 30 hectares unirrigated area. the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 6 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pachperwa (NP) and Balrampur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
