Bahara Kothi is a small village of 71.71 hectares in Burhanpur Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bahara Kothi depends on Shahpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply which is 9.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump.
