Bahapur is a small village of 150 hectares in Jalalpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Bahapur depends on Jalalpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Bahapur's pin code is 224159[4], and village code is 06092700. The area of Bahapur is segregated as 84 hectares irrigated area, 32 hectares unirrigated area. the 20 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.
