Atange is a small village of 673.3 hectares in Akbarpur Tehsil in Ambedkar Nagar district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Atange depends on Akbarpur (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers,Two canals and Two springs. Atange is also surrounded byTwo lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Atange's pin code is 224146[4], and village code is 06163300. The area of Atange is segregated as 487.74 hectares irrigated area, 11.32 hectares unirrigated area. the 99.81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 74.41 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Atange is a census village in the district of Ambedkar Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 4689 and has total administration over 653 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
