Ahera is a small village of 310 hectares in Baghpat Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Ahera depends on Baghpat (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Ahera's pin code is 250609[4], and village code is 01057600. The area of Ahera is segregated as 275 hectares irrigated area. the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 33 hectare area not available for cultivation.
