6 ND is a small village of 272 hectares in Anupgarh Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 6 ND depends on ANUPGARH, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. 6 ND is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Canal. 6 ND's pin code is 335703[4], and village code is 00182100. The area of 6 ND is segregated as 171.78 hectares irrigated area, 14.93 hectares unirrigated, the 3.29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.75 hectare area not available for cultivation.
