4 V is a small village of 328 hectares in Karanpur Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 4 V depends on KESRISINGHPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. 4 V is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. 4 V's pin code is 335073[4], and village code is 00004100. The area of 4 V is segregated as 244.28 hectares irrigated area, 70.9 hectares unirrigated, the 1.52 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.3 hectare area not available for cultivation.
