36 H is a small village of 527 hectares in Karanpur Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 36 H depends on KARANPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. 36 H is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. 36 H's pin code is 335073[4], and village code is 00003100. The area of 36 H is segregated as 246.45 hectares irrigated area, 142.4 hectares unirrigated, the 72.34 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 65.76 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KARANPUR and Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
