2 RTM is a small village of 288 hectares in Vijainagar Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 2 RTM depends on VIJAINAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. 2 RTM is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. 2 RTM's pin code is 335704[4], and village code is 00234900. The area of 2 RTM is segregated as 110.31 hectares irrigated area, 45.16 hectares unirrigated, remaining 1.68 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VIJAINAGAR and Ganganagar to sell wool and make their living.
