24 H-B is a small village of 188 hectares in Karanpur Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 24 H-B depends on KESRISINGHPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. 24 H-B is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. 24 H-B's pin code is 335023[4], and village code is 00003900. The area of 24 H-B is segregated as 166.73 hectares irrigated area, 12.08 hectares unirrigated, the 0.76 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 8.86 hectare area not available for cultivation.
