Sten Dragoti is a Canadian entrepreneur and a leader in the esports and ecommerce industry. He has founded Esport Gaming Events Inc, an esports event management and production company which was acquired by the St. Clair College in 2017. Dragoti is best known for consulting specialists in esports and B2B ecommerce solutions for content creators and influencers.
Early life and education
Sten Dragoti was born in Tirana, Albania on August 28, 1992. During his second year of high school, he started his first company, Advent Gaming Store, an ecommerce business focused on selling gaming peripherals on the eBay marketplace. Dragoti completed his Bachelor's of commerce from the University of Windsor in 2014. He displayed a deep interest in business and esports at a young age, much of his early teenage years were enlivened with entrepreneurial ventures.
While attending University, Dragoti co-founded Esport Gaming Events Inc. in 2013. It was an esports event management and production company and provider of professional esports services. As a President, Dragoti focused on establishing strategic partnerships with the Canadian Video Game Awards, Enthusiast Gaming, Northern Arena and DreamHack Canada; producing and broadcasting livestream videos, creating marketing campaigns, website development, and graphic design. Within months, he was able to successfully build partnerships and gain traction for his business.
In 2017, St. Clair College acquired Esport Gaming Events due to the company’s success and rebranded it as Saints Gaming to create Canada’s first varsity esports program with athletic scholarships. Dragoti was a production director at Saints Gaming for one year where he managed and promoted the Saints Gaming brand through live event production, livestream content creation and online marketing. He created an esports varsity athletics program in Canada, offering students the opportunity to compete in esports with financial aid through scholarships. Dragoti was known to close a collegiate partnership exclusivity agreement with Twitch and helped in monetizing content for Saints Gaming.
Dragoti founded Axiomatic Ventures Inc. in August 2019. He is the CEO at the company where he provides esports and investment consulting services and established relationships with esports organizations, venture capitalists, influencers, and content creators. He has created a white-label ecommerce merchandising solution for influencers and content creators, that allows them to further monetize their content. In an interview, Dragoti described he has been able to scale his latest business into a 6-figure per month success story.
Dragoti has been featured in the CTV News, CBC, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Undergraduate Computer Science Conference, University of Windsor and St. Clair College SRC.
Dragoti lives in Ontario, Canada. He is proficient in English and Albanian. In an interview he stated that his goal is to grow his presence in the esports and ecommerce space while using his business expertise to invest in other opportunities in emerging industries.
