Banokra is a small village of 641 hectares in Kumbhalgarh Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Banokra depends on UDAIPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Banokra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Banokra's pin code is 313325[4], and village code is 03012600. The area of Banokra is segregated as 36 hectares irrigated area, 52 hectares unirrigated, the 467 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 83.81 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Banokra has One post office (Bankora B.O). The village is connected with a single bus service. Banokra has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Banokra is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1378 and has total administration over 261 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of UDAIPUR and Rajsamand to sell juggary and make their living.
