Anapur is a small village of 260 hectares in Soraon Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Anapur depends on Allahabad (M Co), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Anapur's pin code is 229411[4], and village code is 05381500. The area of Anapur is segregated as 113 hectares irrigated area, 8 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.
