Amarpura is a small village of 867 hectares in Kherwara Tehsil in Udaipur district in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Amarpura depends on Udaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Amarpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Amarpura's pin code is 313803[4], and village code is 03120200. The area of Amarpura is segregated as 35 hectares irrigated area, 112 hectares unirrigated, the 4 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 285 hectare area not available for cultivation.
