'''Tom O'Gorman''' (born October 22, 1991) is an American racing driver from Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.

==Career==
===Early Career===
Tom's interest in motorsport began at a very young age. He played many racing games as a kid, such as Gran Turismo, Live for Speed, and TOCA Race Driver.

===SCCA===
Tom started competing at local Cincinnati region SCCA autocross events as a teenager.

His first SCCA Solo Nationals event was in 2009 at Lincoln Air Park, which was the first year that event was held at that location.

In 2012 he won his first SCCA ProSolo National in a 1988 Honda CRX Si

In 2013 he won his first SCCA Solo Nationals in a 1972 Porsche 914/6, and was also awarded the Driver of the Year Award. In that same year he also won the SCCA Triad Award, for accomplishing three feats in a single class: win two regular season achievements and a National Championship, all in the same class.

===Pirelli World Challenge===
Tom started racing his own car in 2015, a Honda Fit, made possible by a crowd fund from the people who knew him.

He teamed up with Black Armor Helmets for 2016, and ended up winning the TCB Championship with that Honda Fit.

In 2017, he was a part of Shea Racing, and moved up to TCA, in a 2017 Honda Civic Si. He finished 3rd in the championship that year.

In 2018, determined to win, Tom took his Honda Civic Si to 1st in the TCA Drivers' Championship and a 2nd Place in the TCA Team Championship for TOMO Racing.<ref>{{Cite web |date=20 September 2018 |title=PWC 2018 Touring Car Classes Champions |url=https://www.tcamerica.us/news/8/pwc-2018-touring-car-classes-champions |website=TCAmerica}}</ref>

===IMSA Continental Tire Challenge & Michelin Pilot Challenge===
Tom was joined by Kenton Koch in the 2018 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, behind the wheel of an Audi RS 3 LMS TCR.<ref name=":2018">{{cite web |last=Nickless |first=Steve |date=May 31, 2020 |title=Brave new world: Two SCCA champions tackle virtual racing |url=https://racer.com/2020/05/31/brave-new-world-two-scca-champions-tackle-virtual-racing/ |accessdate=April 13, 2023 |work=Racer}}</ref> After making their debut mid-season at Watkins Glen, the duo claimed race victories at Virginia and Road Atlanta before season's end.<ref>{{cite news|url=https://sportscar365.com/imsa/impc/trinkler-plumb-score-ctsc-win-at-vir/|title=Trinkler, Plumb Score CTSC Win at VIR|last=Myrehn|first=Ryan|date=August 18, 2018|work=Sportscar365|publisher=John Dagys Media|access-date=April 14, 2023|quote=Polesitters Tom O’Gorman and Kenton Koch took a commanding victory in the TCR class for eEuroparts.com Racing...}}</ref><ref>{{cite news|url=https://sportscar365.com/imsa/impc/bimmerworld-wins-at-road-atlanta-tgm-takes-final-ctsc-championship/|title=BimmerWorld Wins; TGM Takes Final CTSC Title|last=Myrehn|first=Ryan|date=October 12, 2018|work=Sportscar365|publisher=John Dagys Media|access-date=April 14, 2023|quote=Kenton Koch and Tom O’Gorman picked up a dominant win from pole in the TCR class...}}</ref>

In 2019 Tom joined the LA Honda World Racing team, co-driving their Honda Civic Type R TCR along with Shelby Blackstock. They saw success, with 2 wins, one at Daytona, and one at Sebring, and 2 more podiums that year. Unfortunately a few mechanical issues hurt their season points that year.

Tom was able to get back into the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge through Rockwell Autosport Development (RAD) in 2023 at Daytona<ref>{{Cite web |date=2023-01-17 |title=O'Gorman joins Rockwell Autosport in Michelin Pilot Challenge TCR for Daytona |url=https://racer.com/2023/01/17/ogorman-joins-rockwell-autosport-in-michelin-pilot-challenge-tcr-for-daytona/ |access-date=2024-01-28 |website=RACER |language=en-US}}</ref>, unfortunately the car was involved in an incident before he was able to drive the car. That was the only IMSA event he participated in that year.

Rockwell Autosport Development once again invited Tom to drive the car at Daytona in 2024 This time it ended much better, the team and Tom finished 4th in the TCR class.

===Gridlife Touring Cup (GLTC)===
Tom began racing in Gridlife Touring Cup in 2020, with a car he bought, a yellow Honda S2000.

He teamed up with ASM (Andy Smedegard Motorsports) for the 2021, 2022, and 2023 seasons. He won the GLTC Championship in 2022, one of the most difficult championships to win in grassroots racing.

In 2023 he only did 4 races, after deciding to take a step back and focus on driver coaching and team support.

==Personal life==
Early in his life, Tom attended Ohio State University for one year, before deciding to focus on his racing career.
'''Joe Buzzetta''' (born December 30, 1936 Brooklyn New York) is a former American racecar driver who
drove for the factory Porsche racing team as well as successful car dealer. He drove from 1958 to 1969
in professional racing. His career started when he enlisted in the army and was stationed in Germany
where he lived with his wife Valerie. From there he bought an Austin Healey to participate in some local
races. When he found the Porsche’s to be hard to compete with, he bought himself a Porsche 356
Convertible D and immediately noticed a big improvement. After suffering an accident with it he ended
up ordering a 356 Carrera Speedster. He primarily participated in races that he could drive the car to
such as Solitude and Coppa Inter-Europa.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Buzzetta |first1=Joe |title=Complete Archive of Joe Buzzetta |url=https://www.racingsportscars.com/driver/archive/Joe-Buzzetta-USA.html |website=Racing Sports Cars}}</ref>

At the end of his service he moved back to Long Island and continued to participate in local SCCA races
in 1960 and 1961 with his Carrera Speedster. He frequented tracks such as Lime Rock, Bridgehampton,
and Thompson. In 1961 he was chosen to drive for Donald Healey in the Sebring 12 Hour race with
Glenn Carlson where they finished 15 th overall and 2 nd in the S1.15 class.

In 1962 he partnered with racing mechanic Oscar Rubio opening a repair shop called “Competition
Engineering” (later changed to Competition Imports). This business would support their race program
and Buzzetta purchased a Porsche 718 RSK to campaign in 1962 and 1963 in regional SCCA races with
good success. Looking for a better handling car he purchased a 718 RS60 for the 1963 season, winning
overall at Thompson and the SCCA E-Modified national championship.

1964 would start off with Buzzetta receiving the opportunity to drive for the Porsche factory at the
Sebring 12 hours race again. Driving a 356B Carrera 2000 GS/GT “Dreikantschaber”, he and Ben Pon
would finish 11 th overall and 1 st in class. During the rest of the season they would campaign a new Elva
Mk VII with a 4-cam Porsche engine with multiple class victories. He also had the opportunity to drive a
904 GTS with Bill Wuesthoff for Ed Weschler to a victory at Bridgehampton Raceway’s “Double 500.” In
1965 Buzzetta and Rubio would continue to campaign the Elva-Porsche in various USRRC events. In the
beginning of the year however, Buzzetta was given another opportunity to drive for Porsche, this time
with a 904 GTS at Sebring alongside Pen Bon again. Their result was 6 th overall, 2 nd in class trailing Lake
Underwood and Gunther Klass also in a factory 904 GTS, finishing on the same lap.

With great success in the few opportunities he was given, Porsche racing director Huschke von Hanstein
would yield the opportunity for Buzzetta to drive with better support from Porsche. He would start the
1966 Daytona 24 Hour race with Gerhard Mitter in a 904. Together they would finish 7 th overall 1 st in
class. The next month he would start Sebring again, this time with Hans Herrmann and Gerhard Mitter
in the new Carrera 6, better known as the 906. They would celebrate a class victory in the Prototype 2
Liter class, finishing 4 th overall. Using the same chassis (#906-103) racing under Porsche North America,
Buzzetta and Rubio would tour the United States participating in various USSRC events with numerous
class wins.

In 1967, having proven his ability, Buzzetta was invited to race in International endurance races. He
started off the year with driving at Sebring, finishing 7 th overall 4 th in class in a 906 alongside Peter Gregg.
Then he would travel overseas to the Nurburgring 1000KM race, where he would drive a 910 alongside
Udo Schutz. After a very close race they would come out with an overall win by two tenths of a second.
This would end up being a big win for Porsche, their first overall victory at the Nurburgring ever. After
that, Porsche would put Schutz and Buzzetta together in a 910 again hopeful that they could repeat
their success at Le Mans. Unfortunately oil pressure would bring them to a DNF. The rest of the season
would be spent touring the US again in a 906, bringing success with numerous class victories and a win
at Mid-Ohio.

1968 would start at the Daytona 24 hour race, where Buzzetta was paired with Frenchman Jo Schlesser.
Driving the 907 Longtail in the prototype class, they were one of a fleet of 4 factory cars with Porsche
showing a valiant effort. They would secure the victory dominating the race, taking the first three
positions with Buzzetta/Schlesser finishing 3 rd overall. Sebring would be his next race, in a 907, but he
would not finish with a valve spring compromising the engine. Then he would return to the 1000KM
race at the Nurburgring following his overall victory driving a 907 with Jochen Neerpasch. The duo
would finish 4 th overall. Next would be the Watkins Glen 6 Hours and Le Mans, which brought DNFs with
the new 908 showing reliability issues.

In 1969 he was given the opportunity to race at the Daytona 24 hour race again, driving a 908 Longtail
with Richard Atwood. Unfortunately the result was a DNF with them losing an engine 6 hours into the
race. Buzzetta would then go return to Sebring for the 7 th time with Rolf Stommelen and Kurt Ahrens Jr
in a 908/2 finishing 3 rd overall, second in the 3 liter class. His last race for the factory was at Watkins
Glen in a 908/2, where he partnered with Rudy Lins and finished 3 rd overall.

After that with a family and many colleagues being injured or even killed, Buzzetta decided to end his
racing career and focus on the growing business with Rubio. Back on Long Island Competition Imports
now has the Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Datsun franchises and has moved to a bigger facility in St.
James, New York. Although he no longer races professionally, Buzzetta participated in numerous races
in the growing vintage car racing community. He purchased some vintage Porsche racecars like the ones
he drove in the 1960’s as well as a Lola T292 and Chevron B19, racing them from the 1980’s to 2012. In
the early 1980’s he would split the business with Rubio and part ways. Oscar taking the Datsun brand
and Buzzetta taking Mercedes-Benz and BMW. Now Competition Imports is called Competition
Automotive Group and consists of individual dealerships including Competition BMW, Mercedes-Benz of
Smithtown, Competition Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz of Huntington, and Competition Subaru. They are now
run by his 3 children. He still has some of the cars he raced in vintage racing and even bought back
some of the cars he raced in the 1960’s. Although he no longer races, he still participates in taking them
to concurs events.
'''Felene American Handcrafted Vodka''' is an American vodka brand produced by Felene Inc. Felene Inc is registered as a C-corporation under the laws of Colorado. Felene Inc is also registered with the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) as a Distilled Spirits Plant (DSP). The brand is known for its use of organic sugarcane juice as its base agricultural product. Established in 2016, the company is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The brand differentiates itself through its production process, particularly the use of a reflux column still for distillation and solid block carbon filtration process. Felene Vodka is packaged in a super flint, Arizona-style bottle with two adhesive labels and utilizes a bar top cork enclosure and a tamper-evident PVC heat-shrunk capsule.

===Brand Ownership===
Felene Vodka was founded by Timothy Kelly who is a co-owner and Master Distiller of Felene. In 2022, Kim Laderer, Felene President acquired a minority ownership stake in Felene Inc.

The company was granted a registered trademark for the brand logo by the United States Patent & Trademark Office November 26, 2019.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Trademark Status & Document Retrieval |url=https://tsdr.uspto.gov/#caseNumber=88401696&caseSearchType=US_APPLICATION&caseType=DEFAULT&searchType=statusSearch |access-date=2024-01-01 |website=tsdr.uspto.gov}}</ref>

===='''History'''====
Founded in 2016, Felene Vodka was established with the intent of creating a high-pH, organic vodka sourced from sugarcane juice. The decision to base the company in Denver, Colorado, was influenced by the region's suitability for a high pH water supply.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Adjusting the pH in Drinking Water |url=https://www.denverwater.org/your-water/water-quality/lead/ph |access-date=2024-01-01 |website=Denver Water |language=en}}</ref>

===='''Production Process'''====
Felene Vodka utilizes organic sugarcane as the primary sugar source for its vodka, setting it apart from many traditional grain or potato-based vodkas. The main source of sugar in sugarcane juice is sucrose, which is well-suited for ethanol fermentation<ref>{{Cite journal |last=Oliveira |first=Érica Resende |date=Nov 4, 2017 |title=Assessment of chemical and sensory quality of sugarcane alcoholic fermented beverage |journal=Journal of Food Science and Technology |volume=55 |issue=1 |pages=72–81 |doi=10.1007/s13197-017-2792-4 |pmid=29358797 |pmc=5756184 }}</ref>. The distillation process employs a reflux column still, a method known for producing a pure and refined spirit<ref>{{Cite web |last=Aaron |first=Hyde |date=July 28, 2023 |title=Unraveling the Art of Distillation: Pot Distilling vs. Reflux Distilling |url=https://www.themaltmiller.co.uk/blog/unraveling-the-art-of-distillation-pot-distilling-vs-reflux-distilling/?v=e892e780304d |access-date=January 1, 2024 |website=THE MALT MILLER}}</ref>. This process is key to the brand's signature product quality profile. Felene vodka is charcoal filtered by a proprietary solid carbon block filtration system (Lenticular filtration)<ref>{{Cite web |last=Peterson |first=Maria |date=June 2021 |title=Advantages of Lenticular Filtration |url=https://scottlab.com/lenticular-filtration-advantages |website=Scott Laboratories}}</ref>. Each bottle of Felene Vodka is sparged with nitrogen gas to in an effort to retard oxidation. All Felene products are made from organic, Brazilian sugarcane. All products are 40% alcohol (80 proof) and are free of any sweeteners or citric acid.

==History==
The main unit of the network was run out of Rio de Janeiro between 1999 and 2010. The IMS Paulista, moving from its smaller space in Higienópolis after 20 years, became the primary unit on Avenida Paulista, São Paulo.<ref name=":2">{{Cite web |last=Moraes |first=Camila |date=2016-12-20 |title=Uma biblioteca pioneira para a fotografia no Brasil |url=https://brasil.elpais.com/brasil/2016/12/09/cultura/1481309613_562932.html |access-date=2023-12-31 |website=El País Brasil |language=}}</ref>

Photography in particular comprises a prominent portion of its collection.<ref name=":0">{{Cite web |title=Instituto Moreira Salles, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil |url=https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/instituto-moreira-salles |access-date=2023-12-31 |website=Google Arts & Culture |language=en}}</ref><ref name=":3">{{Cite web |title=Novo Instituto Moreira Salles inaugura na Avenida Paulista |url=https://vejasp.abril.com.br/cultura-lazer/instituto-moreira-salles-avenida-paulista-inauguracao/ |access-date=2023-12-31 |website=VEJA SÃO PAULO |language=}}</ref>

===Photography===
IMS's Photography Division boasts around 2 million images, encompassing critical 19th-century works by Marc Ferrez and 20th-century collections from renowned photographers. It also includes a significant acquisition from the Diários Associados group in Rio de Janeiro, emphasizing the integration of 21st-century images. In 2016, the Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS) announced it had acquired a significant collection from the Diários Associados group, doubling its photographic archive to approximately two million images. This collection, spanning from 1915 to 2005, includes photographs and negatives from prominent Brazilian newspapers and magazines.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Associados ao IMS |url=https://ims.com.br/por-dentro-acervos/associados-ao-ims/ |access-date=2023-12-31 |website=Instituto Moreira Salles |language=}}</ref>

===Music===
The Music Division houses a vast collection of early Brazilian musical recordings, including 78 rpm records and 21,000 phonograms. It features collections from notable Brazilian composers such as Chiquinha Gonzaga, Ernesto Nazareth, and Pixinguinha.

===Literature===
IMS's Literature Division contains letters, papers, books, and documents from influential Brazilian writers like Otto Lara Resende, Erico Verissimo, and Clarice Lispector, offering insights into Brazil's literary history.

===Iconography===
The Iconography Division holds an all-paper collection of watercolors, engravings, and drawings, primarily from traveling artists in the 19th century. Notable contributors include Charles Landseer and Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius.

==Exhibitions and Cinema==
The Institute is renowned for organizing visual arts exhibitions that showcase works of Brazilian and international artists. Additionally, IMS holds a special interest in cinema.<ref name=":0" />

The inaugural exhibition at IMS Paulista was ''The Clock'' (2010), a video installation by Swiss-American artist Christian Marclay, which won the Golden Lion at the 2011 Venice Biennale.<ref name=":2" />

==Architecture==
The São Paulo museum's design elevates the ground floor to the center of the building, creating a new and open relationship between the museum, the city, and its inhabitants. This shift from the ground level to an elevated platform aimed at a new articulation of internal museum spaces and a refreshed perspective of the city. The façade, with a double-layered translucent glass skin, ensures a light quality corresponding to a calm and welcoming interior envisioned for the museum.<ref name=":1">{{Cite web |date=2017-11-08 |title=Instituto Moreira Salles / Andrade Morettin Arquitetos Associados |url=https://www.archdaily.com.br/br/883093/instituto-moreira-salles-andrade-morettin-arquitetos |access-date=2023-12-31 |website=ArchDaily Brasil |language=}}</ref> The choice of materials, such as Portuguese mosaic flooring and basalt, were chosen to reflect to build meaningful relationships with the city. The use of translucent glass as a second skin defines the museum as a distinct volume within the urban landscape, while its light and translucency properties create a variable perception depending on the environment and the observer's position.<ref name=":1" />

The building, situated on Paulista Avenue near the intersection with Rua Consolação, was designed to be an attraction in itself. Featuring a mirrored facade and natural lighting, it aims to be self-sustainable and create a continuity between the sidewalk and the interior space, inviting pedestrians to enter. The architectural project, by the firm Andrade Morettin, was chosen in 2011 through a competition judged by a jury from five prominent Brazilian companies. The entire project represents an investment of 80 million reais, raised without tax incentives, like the rest of the institute's projects.<ref name=":2" />

==Funding and Support==
Initial funding was provided by Unibanco, with subsequent contributions from the Moreira Salles family. This support enables IMS to sustain and grow its cultural projects.<ref name=":0" />

==Publications==
IMS actively publishes in various formats, including exhibition catalogs, books on photography, literature, music, and two notable periodicals - ZUM Magazine, focusing on contemporary photography globally, and Serrote, a quarterly magazine of essays and ideas.<ref name=":0" />

==Cultural Impact==
As a widely visible institution, IMS promotes artistic and intellectual activities in Brazil, contributing to the country's cultural heritage across multiple disciplines.<ref name=":0" /><ref name=":3" />
He is also writer.<ref>{{cite web |last1=Books |title=Books written by Velaian |url=https://books.dinamalar.com/books_main.asp?ty=1&apid=8044}}</ref>

==Early life==
Mullanchery M Velaian also had the common education like every others from his village. He was concerned about the village people and with endless efforts he came out with solutions for their problem. At the age of 13 he had learnt “Kambu Kaliyal”. His passion towards plays and dramas brought out the writer in him at the age of 17. The play “Thaimel Aanai” highlighted the problems and difficulties faced by common people. Being too young to be a writer, it took some time for the people to acknowledge his play. He had presented more than 20 plays which had good response .At the age of 11 he had facilitated and welcomed Perunthalaivar Kamaraj who came to his village.

==Career==
He completed ITI and worked in the private sector in Chennai until 1984, when he joined a government organization as a draftsman. This job improved his financial position and he went on to obtain a MA from Madurai Kamaraj University and a MPhil from Alagappa University. He returned to his home village and in his spare time became involved in voluntary work such as organizing temple festivals, youth development and child care. He undertook public speaking roles and encouraged others to do the same.

==Social involvement==
It was his idea to form an organization to develop his village. He gathered people, youngsters and women and formed “Village People Association”. Being a government servant he mingled with the people and was responsible for developments like roads, entrepreneurship, and care for youngsters. He never accepted donations or rewards and spent money from his own pocket and still leads a very simple life.

; Village People Association

The first step was the development of Mullanchery road which was in 1985 and then Kollakudi Villai road in the same year. This was done with the help of village people.

; Literacy development

In these program nine wards of Nallor panchayat was concentrated and the main aim was to make people capable to sign at least. A camp was conducted and around 950 people were educated. This was a revolution in 1988. This was done before the implementation of Arivoli Iyakkam (the Literacy Movement). At the last day of the camp, a procession was held between Karavilagam and Illavuvilai consisting of women and youngsters insisting on the importance of education. This was conducted with the help of students of teacher training institute of Kollamkodu.

In addition to that, classes were conducted for school drop outs and were encouraged to pass eighth standard.

; Medical camp

Free medical camp, eye care camps, village care camps etc were organized by him to improve the health of people.

; Industrial development

A tailoring institute was formed to train the ladies and make them empowered. Rope weaving was taught to household ladies. For youngsters’ technical training was given on radio and television repair for 2 years by Nehru Yuva Kendra. Every year sports day, Independence Day, Republic day celebrations were conducted and still continues. He helped to organize Hindi classes, kinder garden schooling, basic law education etc. Collectors, government officials, doctors, professors, etc. used to participate in these celebrations at Mullanchery.

District level elocution, essay writing, poetry writing, drawing, dance competitions were organized by him successfully. This helped the youngsters to upgrade their knowledge also helped to build up their confidence. Due to continuous effort of Mullanchery M. Velaian education and industrial growth of Mullanchery was improved. The threat to the growth of Mullanchery was production of Arrack which spoilt the youth. So he formed an association to give awarenss to people about its effects and to give protection to those who give up arrack production. People were gathered to ask government to take legal action against arrack production.

Initially people, who were unable to realize the benefits of his activities,were creating problems to him. Due to this he suffered financially as well as mentally. Some tried to attack physically and also tried to create problem at his work place. But the goodwill, punctuality, honesty and hard work at his work place saved him. Some well-wishers and Mr.N.Dennis (Ex. Member of Parliament from Nagercoil) gave support and ensured safety.

; Anti Drug Addiction Movement

He realized that many other villages also face the same problem. Hence he initiated a campaign named Anti Drug Addiction Movement. The professor of Nagercoil Hindu College Dr.Sreekumar and Palm Workers Development Association coordinator Mr.Edwinzam gave support to his ventures.

• He organized a cycle rally from Kaliyakavilai to Nagercoil against Alcohol Usage.

• He organized a procession along the coastal side from Kollamkodu to Kanyakumari.

• Also every year June 26 The World Anti Alcohol Day is celebrated by conducting elocution competition and rallies in Kanyakumari district.

• Seminar, debates and camps were conducted at all villages in Kanyakumari district. This brings some awareness among the people.

== Thought of development ==
In order to enhance intellectual thinking among youngsters, he organized science exhibition, scientist student interaction program, science tour, science camp and cultural programs. In 1999 he first organized a District level science exhibition in Marthandam then in Munsirai, Thuckalay, Padanthalumoodu, Nagercoil and it is keep going.

Realizing the weakness of village schools he conducted a seminar for headmasters on “the look of education in the 21st century”

He organized a computer training program for 650 school headmasters of Kanyakumari district[''when?''], as well as a camp for science teachers based on the theme of “Science for the Young Generation”.

'''Kumari Arivial Peravai [Kumari Science Forum]'''

To do these science activities he formed an organization named Kumari Arivial Peravai in 2003. Many teachers from various schools are voluntarily involved in the forum because of the activities.

He organizes many programs like Science exhibition, Scientist students interaction, Science Camp, Science tour etc. This helps the students in improving their knowledge.

According to the performance “Best Teacher Award” is given to 8 teachers every year. This award is given to physically challenged schools.

The Students of Kumari District were called and topics were given on scientific problems faced and were asked to give solutions. Every year he conducts young scientist program for school students.
